Dr. Heiko Hiltmann

History - dogs - drums. All passions of which Heiko Hiltmann, who was born in the Moselle and studied history, archaeology and Nordic studies, long considered only the former to be professionally relevant. However, when he started as Director of Studies and Deputy Director at Sankelmark in 2016, he was delighted to discover that not only seminars on history and archaeology, but also events such as the Sankelmark Drum & Bass Camp or testing seminars for working dogs were attracting a grateful audience.

True to the motto “the best is yet to come”, he is now enthusiastically striving to turn other personal interests - e.g. “RadkulTouren”, ancient languages, sport or mathematics - into events for like-minded people. Last but not least, the self-confessed Iceland lover - he spent part of his student and working life in Reykjavík - dreams of a study trip to Iceland. Stay tuned …
